Ceylon Coffee Harmony
How to Brew a Perfect cup of KOPI
Steps:
Measure:
1-2 Tablespoon (15g-20g) of Ground coffee
Water Temperature:
Heat your water to the ideal temperature. Aim for water between 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C). This is just below boiling.
Brewing Method:
Drip Coffee:
Place a paper filter in your coffee maker, add the ground Ceylon coffee, and pour hot water evenly over it.
French Press
Combine coffee grounds and hot water in a French press, stir, and steep for about 4 minutes. Plunge slowly
Pour-Over:
Pour hot water in a circular motion over the Ceylon coffee grounds in a filter-lined dripper. Adjust your pouring speed for the desired brew time.
Espresso:
Brew finely ground Ceylon coffee under pressure for a short time (about 25-30 seconds)
Brew Time:
Pay attention to the brew time, which varies depending on the method. Experiment to find your preferred brewing time.
Taste and Adjust:
Taste your coffee and adjust the variables (coffee-to-water ratio, grind size, brew time) to match your preference.
Serve:
Pour your coffee into a pre-warmed cup or mug. You can enjoy it black or add milk, cream, sugar, or any other flavorings to taste.
Remember that the perfect cup of coffee is subjective and may vary from person to person. Experimentation and fine-tuning are key to finding your ideal brew. Enjoy the process, and savor your perfect cup of coffee!
